Dudley Links Up with Livingston Lures

Livingston Lures has added three-time Walmart FLW Tour Angler of the Year David Dudley to its pro-staff. The Virginia pro joins two-time FLW AOY Andy Morgan and former FLW Rookie of the Year Stetson Blaylock on the Team Livingston roster.

“This is a great fit for me,” Dudley says. “I’ve spent countless hours underwater studying fish, hunting fish and looking at fish habitat, and one thing is that I always hear fish, every time I go down under. Livingston’s Electronic Baitfish Sounds (EBS) technology is an undeniable must-have. It brings a natural element – the sound of actual baitfish – to the totally unnatural element that we’re accustomed to throwing.”

Dudley, from Lynchburg, was the Tour AOY in 2008, and won back-to-back AOY titles in 2011 and 2012. He claimed the Forrest Wood Cup title in 2003 on the James River, and has racked up 40 top-10 finishes and seven wins in his FLW career.

“We’ve been talking to David for a couple of years now, and it was obvious that he thinks about fish differently than most people – really tries hard to understand what causes them to respond to baits,” notes Erick Arnoldson, Livingston’s pro-staff director. “He’s paid attention to what Livingston has been doing with our EBS MultiTouch technology and took it upon himself to fish some of our baits so he could get a good firsthand look at what the addition of sound does for a bait. We’re extremely fortunate to have an angler of David Dudley’s caliber as part of the Livingston team.”
