Jason Lieblong, who has led the Rayovac Central Division tournament on lake Dardanelle for two days seems poised to close the deal. FLW photographer Shane Durrance reports that the leader had a limit of approximately 10 pounds by noon.

Lieblong has been fishing 8-10 feet of water — significant change from the bank fishing that dominated his first two days.

With 34 pounds, 1 ounce, Lieblong started the final day with a 14-ounce lead over second-place pro Kerry Milner, who experienced a slow morning. Milner fished a variety of shallow targets and even made a stop to fish around a massive school of shad gathering along the edge of a flat.

Around 9:30, Milner transitioned to the shell beds that produced most of his day-two fish. He boated his first keeper at 10:55 with a Carolina-rigged Zoom Brush Hog.

Around 11:15, Milner said he was concerned his spots were out of fish. His plan is to spend the remainder of his day running new water.

If Milner continues to struggle and Lieblong can pad his limit with the afternoon bite, we could be looking at a clean sweep.

The dark horse is Josh Hilton, who made some key adjustments on day two and rocketed up from 42nd place to third with the biggest day-two sack — 18 pounds, 5 ounces. Hilton entered day three at 4 pounds, 6 ounces off the lead. Another big day from him could push him past Lieblong.
