Rich Dalbey, FLW professional angler, will host a food drive for the Harvest Hope Food Bank. Rich Dalbey, who has won over $140,000.00 in FLW sponsored fishing events, has qualified for the Forrest L. Wood Cup Championship Tournament three times, finishing third in 2012, as a co-angler. This year Rich Dalbey finished 41 in the standings for Angler of the Year. Additionally, Dalbey has 1 win and 13 top 10 finishes to his credit in FLW sponsored tournaments around the United States. Rich and his wife, Frances, reside in Greenville, Texas. When he is not on the road, Rich enjoys volunteering at his local food bank. Seeking to bring an awareness of the need in some of the communities where the FLW tournaments are held, Rich invites people to bring cans of food to the FLW Expo.

The FLW Expo will be Saturday and Sunday, August 16-17 from 10AM – 4PM at the Colonial Life Arena, 801 Lincoln Street , Columbia SC 29208.

Everyone who brings 5 cans of food will be entered to win a $100 Walmart gift card.

About Harvest Hope Food Bank

The mission of Harvest Hope Food Bank is to provide for the needs of hungry people by gathering and sharing quality food with dignity, compassion and education. Harvest Hope began in 1981 as the result of a shared vision of business leaders and the faith community who set out to provide for the hungry in Columbia. Since then Harvest Hope has increased its mission to feed the hungry across 20 counties of South Carolina. Harvest Hope distributed over 28 million pounds of food last year and fed approximately 38,000 people a week. From our simple beginnings, Harvest Hope has continued to increase the scope of its operations and now provides food, comfort and hope to hungry individuals and families in the Midlands, Pee Dee and Greater Greenville regions of South Carolina.
