Jason Johnson of Gainesville, Ga., has been dominant from the back of the boat throughout his two years of fishing the Walmart FLW Tour. For 2014, Johnson has added both Luxaire Heating and Cooling and John Megel Chevrolet to his sponsor portfolio.

He boasts three top-10 finishes in his short career, two of which came last year on Beaver Lake (fourth) and Lake Eufaula (second), while the third came in his rookie season on Lake Champlain (10th). Johnson has qualified for the Forrest Wood Cup twice and took home a 14th-place finish on his home lake of Lanier back in 2012. Most impressively, Johnson finished 11th in the points race in his rooke season and fourth last year.

When not on the water, Johnson can be found working as the vice president of Dawson Heat n’ Air.

“I’ve worked hard for over 15 years keeping people comfortable indoors doing HVAC,” said Johnson. “Luxaire is my choice when it comes to my customers heating and cooling equipment whether it be replacing existing or from total new construction. A big thing for me is It’s made and assembled in the United States, it is competitively priced, comes with a 10-year parts warranty and since 2001 they have been a supporting partner of the Make-A-Wish Foundation with over $2.6 million dollars raised and donated.”

John Megel Chevrolet is located in Dawsonville, Ga. It is family owned and operated by a hunting and fishing father and son. They support countless local fishing tournaments as well as their annual GON magazine “Truck Buck” giveaway at the end of Georgia’s hunting season where one lucky hunter receives a new Chevy Truck.

“It feels awesome representing brands and companies I have been dealing with personally for years and believe in 100 percent.”

Johnson will also continue to receive support in 2014 from Gambler Lures, Hammonds Fishing Center, Typhoon Optics, Dawson Heat n’ Air, Davis Baits and Ranger Boats.
