Several Walmart FLW Tour pros are involved in a new pay-per-view live online seminar series called Pro Web Live, which was announced Thursday. The initial lineup of anglers includes Jason Christie, Brent Ehrler, Dave Lefebre, Jimmy Houston and Mark Rose as well as Edwin Evers, Brandon Palaniuk, Shaw Grigsby, Aaron Martens and Ott Defoe.

Twenty-four live, fully interactive events are planned for 2014, all starting at the same time – 8 p.m. ET. The events vary in length from 90 to 120 minutes and require the purchase of a virtual ticket, which costs $49.99. To attend, guests simply prepay by credit card, and then receive a ticket through email allowing them to enter the Pro Web Live virtual seminar room. Each ticket belongs to a computer, not necessarily a single person. Subscription packages are also available.

“Basically, this deal is a win-win for everyone,” said Jason Christie, the winner of the 2013 FLW Tour events on Beaver Lake and Grand Lake. “Like everyone else in the PWL speaker line up, I am a very busy person. I’m traveling all the time, not just to tournaments, but also to various other appearances. What Pro Web Live is doing not only makes perfect sense to the fans, but also assists someone in my situation, and I’m excited about the possibilities of engaging with more of those fishing fans because of it.”

“The on-line presence of the fishing industry has never been greater, and it’s no coincidence that on-line shopping is more popular now than ever before,” said two-time FLW Tour champion Dave Lefebre. “Pro Web Live basically combines a seminar, social media, “how to” videos, and an online retailer into a single jam-packed, live television-like event.”
