Walmart FLW Tour pro and New Jersey native Adrian Avena will be joining Zorro Bait Company for the 2014 season. Avena is proving to be a rising star on Tour and the young pro didn’t disappoint in 2013. He took eighth to start the season at Okeechobee and remained consistent to finish seventh in the Angler of the Year standings. He even made his first Forrest Wood Cup appearance where he nearly made the top-10 cut and ultimately finished 11th.

“As I was wrapping up my sophomore season as an FLW Tour pro, I was introduced to the owners of Stan Sloan’s Zorro Bait Company; Jonathan and Lee,” said Avena. “I knew these guys had a great vision following our very first conversation, and knew I wanted to be branded by a company like Zorro Baits. In just a short amount of time we have discussed producing future products to enhance the Zorro name. Every angler’s dream is to be able to have a say in designing their very own product, and Zorro allows me to do this. I continue to fish with an open mind, constantly trying to adjust to the conditions using different techniques, and with products ranging from buzzbaits to shaky heads, Zorro has me covered!”
