Although the 2013 Walmart FLW Tour season has officially concluded, bass-fishing fans still looking for additional opportunities to interact with their favorite pros before the start of the 2014 tournament fishing schedule are in luck. On Thursday, Oct. 17 at 10 a.m. Central Time, fans will be able to correspond directly with FLW Tour pro David Dudley of Lynchburg, Va., during a live TweetChat.
Fans of Dudley and the FLW Tour can start submitting questions immediately on either the FLW Facebook page or on FLW Twitter using #FLWChat. Questions may also be submitted directly on Twitter during the live chat.
After rewriting the record books in 2012 by becoming the only competitor in FLW history to capture the FLW Tour Angler of the Year title in back-to-back seasons, David Dudley of Lynchburg, Va., hit the 2013 FLW Tour season with high expectations. But while the Virginia pro stumbled a bit in the opening stanza of Tour action this season, he quietly rebounded to finish the year ranked 16th place overall. Dudley currently boasts three FLW Tour AOY titles (tied for the record with Clark Wendlandt), 38 top-10 finishes, 15 Forrest Wood Cup appearances, seven FLW tournament victories overall, three FLW Tour titles (Fort Loudoun-Tellico Lakes in 2008, Beaver Lake in 2012 and Lake Champlain in 2012) as well as one Forrest Wood Cup victory – a riveting 5-ounce win on the James River in 2003. Not surprisingly, Dudley also remains the all-time FLW money leader, recently surpassing $3.28 million in career earnings. Dudley, who began his fishing career with FLW back in 1995, has also qualified for the Forrest Wood Cup every year but one (2005) since the 1997 season.
