LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. – McCoy Fishing recently announced it has signed FLW Tour pro Ken Golub of Pittsford, N.Y., for the 2013 season. Golub has been fishing FLW events since 1996 and is currently in the midst of his sophomore season on the FLW Tour.

In his career, Golub has 16 top-10 finishes and victories on Oneida Lake and Lake Champlain. After cashing checks at the first two FLW Tour events of the season, Golub currently sits squarely on the bubble (46th) for a Forrest Wood Cup berth.

“I am excited to join the McCoy team,” he said. “I have been extremely impressed with their improved fluorocarbon. The increased sensitivity and line characteristics are an important part of detecting a subtle bite, especially while drop-shotting or dragging a football jig.”

Golub’s next event will be the FLW Tour qualifier on Beaver Lake, slated for April 11-14 in Rogers, Ark.

McCoy Fishing has been producing premium fishing line and tackle, made in America, since 1935.
