Nicholas Steve Adams, co-founder of Lindy-Little Joe, Inc., died on Tuesday, December 25, 2012. He is survived by his wife Idalene and his seven children.

Adams along with brothers Ron and Al Linder started the Lindy Tackle Company in 1968. Their main focus was to manufacture and market a new presentation that would eventually take the walleye-fishing world by storm – the Lindy Rig. Also in his lifetime, Adams was inducted into the Fishing Hall of Fame of Minnesota and the National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame.

He was also a board member and chairman of the board for the nonprofit charity Camp Confidence – which is an outdoor center for persons with developmental disabilities located in northern Minnesota.
