AUBURN, Calif. – FLW Tour angler Cody Meyer recently agreed to terms with Typhoon Polarized Optics. Meyer wrapped up his third season on the Walmart FLW Tour with an 11th-place finish at the Forrest Wood Cup on Lake Lanier. That 11th-place finish follows three consecutive top-7 finishes in the Cup.

“What I really like about Typhoon is they have a great product and they are more than reasonable on the price. In fact, their quality ranks up there with polarized sunglasses that are four times the price of the Typhoons,” stated Meyer.

Meyer continued, “As professional anglers we agree to get up on the stage and talk about all of our great sponsors. It’s not that we don’t believe in the products we use, we do. Unfortunately not everyone can afford a $70,000 boat, a $20,000 motor or several hundred dollar pair of sunglasses. I really feel good that I can promote a product that almost anyone can afford. For sixty to seventy dollars you can wear a pair of sunglasses that are not only great for fishing, but you’ll look good at the same time. Heck, they look so good my wife wears them, too.”

Meyer looks forward to 2013 and working with Typhoon.

“They already have some fantastic styles, but what I love about the Typhoon Polarized Optics company is they never rest. They are already working on new styles and designs for next year. I can’t wait to see what they come out with next.”
