Boater Jayme Rampey of Liberty, S.C., caught a 10-bass limit weighing 27 pounds, 11 ounces Sept. 25-26 to win $5,997 in the BFL Savannah River Division tournament on Clarks Hill Lake. Under clouds and rain, Rampey was fishing midlake near grassy points with a frog to catch his limits.

Greg Noles of Lagrange, Ga., earned $2,824 as the co-angler winner of the BFL Savannah River Division Super Tournament.

Greg Noles of Lagrange, Ga., caught a 10-bass limit weighing 14 pounds, 5 ounces Sept. 25-26 to win $2,824 in the Co-angler Division. He was fishing midlake pockets with a Speed Worm to catch his limits.

Coming up

All five events in the Savannah River Division are complete and the top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers based on point standings in the division have now qualified for the Regional Championship scheduled for Oct. 21-23 on Lake Seminole in Bainbridge, Ga. Boaters will compete for a top award of a Ranger 198VX with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard and a Chevy pick-up, while co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
