Boater Tim Sprouse of Clarksville, Tenn., caught a five-bass limit weighing 20 pounds even Saturday to win $4,796 in the BFL LBL Division tournament on Lake Barkley.

Rounding out the top 10 boaters:

3rd: Mike McDonald, Indianapolis, Ind., five bass, 16-12, $1,595

7th: Steve Alvarado, Paducah, Ky., five bass, 13-8, $799

Coming up

The next BFL LBL Division tournament is scheduled for May 8 at Kentucky-Barkley lakes in Gilbertsville, Ky. After the fifth LBL Division tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Oct. 14-16 Regional Championship at Lake Guntersville in Scottsboro, Ala., where boaters will compete for a top award of a Ranger 198VX boat with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard and a Chevy pick-up, while co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
