MINNEAPOLIS – FLW Outdoors has announced that it has launched a brand new game for mobile phones, FLW Outdoors Bass Fishing. The game became available Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009, to AT&T mobile phone subscribers.

FLW Outdoors Bass Fishing allows you to dominate your tournament while enjoying amazing graphics and simple controls. You can enjoy the rush of landing the big bass and using your favorite rod and reel combination, special lures and finding that secret fishing hole. The action is captivating, but does not get repetitive. (A video demonstration is available at the bottom of the article.)

“The game has great graphics and its ease of use will allow everyone to be exposed to our sport and get a taste of the competition the anglers face, all while having fun at the same time,” said Trisha Blake, senior vice president and chief marketing officer of FLW Outdoors.

The game consists of two modes – competition and arcade. Competition mode offers various challenges within the tournament structure with a large lake to explore that features bass of all sizes and species. The key is to catch as much weight as you can and make it back to check-in before time expires.

The arcade mode allows users to enjoy a quick blast of fishing fun and perfect their techniques.

AT&T subscribers can text “bass” or “hook” to “386” to download the game, which is competitively priced or available for a monthly subscription. Standard text messaging rates apply.

Currently, the FLW Outdoors Bass Fishing game is not available on the iPhone. However, the application will be coming soon. Additional carriers are slated to debut the game in the near future as well.
