CHARLES COUNTY, Md. – Fishing fans will have the opportunity to meet some of the most accomplished anglers in the world of competitive bass fishing at six Wal-Mart stores in the Charles County, Md., area June 12, from 6-8 p.m.

The world-class anglers will be signing autographs, posing for photos and offering fishing tips to store visitors during the two-hour event, which precedes the Wal-Mart FLW Tour tournament on the Potomac River June 14-17.

Among the anglers participating will be Kellogg’s pro Clark Wendlandt of Leander, Texas, who twice won the Land O’Lakes Angler of the Year award on the FLW Tour. Wendlandt has long been one of the most recognized anglers on tour, and has accumulated over $1.25 million in career FLW Outdoors earnings. Wendlandt will be speaking at the Wal-Mart store located at 5800 Kingstowne Blvd. in Alexandria, Va. Joining him will be Lawry’s pro Dan Morehead, National Guard pro Derek Jones and Castrol pro Bobby Curtis. For more store details, see the complete schedule below.
