KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Fishing fans will have the opportunity to meet some of the most accomplished anglers in the world of competitive bass fishing at six Wal-Mart stores in the Knoxville, Tenn., area March 27, from 6-8 p.m.

The world-class anglers will be signing autographs, posing for photos and offering fishing tips to store visitors during the two-hour event, which precedes the Wal-Mart FLW Tour event, presented by BP, on Fort Loudoun-Tellico Lakes March 29-April 1.

Jason Knapp of Uniontown, Penn., now leads the BP Eastern Division FLW Series event with 27 pounds, 13 ounces.Among the pros participating will be Wal-Mart pro George Cochran of Hot Springs, Ark., who won the 2005 FLW Tour Championship on Lake Hamilton and has accumulated well over $1 million in career earnings. Cochran has long been one of the most recognized anglers on tour, and in addition to his impressive resume on the FLW Tour, has two Bassmaster Classic wins to his credit. Cochran will be speaking at the Wal-Mart store located at 7420 Chapman Highway in Knoxville. Joining him will be Pepcid pro Jason Knapp, Land O’Lakes pro Keith Williams and Kellogg’s pro Sam Newby.
