2006 Wal-Mart FLW Tour Championship

The 2006 Wal-Mart FLW Tour Championship is scheduled to take place on Logan Martin Lake in Birmingham, Ala., from Aug. 2-5. The $1.5 million championship, presented by Castrol, will feature anglers from 28 states and Japan who qualified for the championship after competing in six qualifying events throughout the 2006 season. In addition to the four-day fishing championship, a host of other events are scheduled as well. Those events include a variety of comprehensive fishing seminars from many of the FLW Tour’s top pros, the National Guard Junior World Championship, outdoor shows, Family Fun Zone participation as well as a free concert from country music star Craig Morgan.
