Wal-Mart FLW Tour pro Dave Lefebre was able to summarize his projection for the upcoming EverStart Northeast Division tournament on the Potomac River with a single word – “awesome.”

“There isn’t a better time to go there,” Lefebre said. “The fish should be real aggressive and they will be shallow. I’m guessing the tournament will be won in water four-feet deep or less.”

Key patterns: Lefebre thinks jigs, spinnerbaits and crankbaits will rule. Milfoil beds, lay-downs, stumps and boat-dock pilings are likely to produce the heaviest sacks.

Lefebre’s call: 24 pounds to make the cut; 32 pounds to earn the biggest check.
