MINNEAPOLIS – Tune in Sunday, April 10, to “Wal-Mart FLW Outdoors” on FSN for the conclusion of the $900,000 Wal-Mart FLW Tour event on the Ouachita River. Watch as co-hosts Charlie Evans and Keith Lebowitz take viewers through the final weigh-in and award the winning pro angler $100,000.

The one-hour show is the second of a two-part series covering the third event of the 2005 FLW Tour season. On-the-water cameras give viewers an intimate look at the 10 finalists who compete for a career-changing top prize. All anglers start day three at zero weight, with the winning pro determined on day four based on the heaviest two-day weight. Finalists are survivors of two days of qualifying competition that pitted them against a field of the world’s best bass anglers.

The April 10 show presents a feature with Adam Isaac, a 13-year-old boy from Downsville, La., who was born with complications with his esophagus. Last year during the FLW Tour Atchafalaya Basin tournament, pro anglers Bobby Curtis and David Lauer visited the boy at a nearby hospital. Curtis and Lauer told Isaac that if he recovered, they’d take him fishing and give him a boat ride when they were in Monroe for the FLW Tour Ouachita River event. When the anglers left the hospital, they figured there was little chance he would survive. Since that time, Isaac has completed an amazing recovery and made the trip to Monroe to take the anglers up on their offer.

FSN also speaks with a group of legendary FLW Tour pros including Rick Clunn, Guido Hibdon, Jimmy Houston, Larry Nixon and Tom Mann Jr. On March 13, FSN aired a feature with a group of young anglers known as the “next generation.” Hear what the sport’s founding fathers have to say about this young group and how the evolution of the sport, including improved technology and increased money, has made it easier to be a professional angler.

The show also presents profiles with FLW Tour pros Toshinari Namiki and Matt Herren. Namiki, coming off an impressive performance on the Ouachita River, is currently in seventh place in the Wal-Mart FLW Tour standings. Herren, the Trussville, Ala., native also made the cutoff at the FLW Tour event on the Ouachita River and is in third place in the Wal-Mart FLW Tour standings.
