DALLAS – On “FLW Radio” this week it’s time to get serious about fishing as veteran FLW Tour pros Ray Scheide, Robert Pearson and Randy Blaukat join host Keith Lebowitz to preview the upcoming 2005 FLW Tour season. “FLW Radio” is broadcast live from Dallas Sunday and made available on demand Wednesday on FLWOutdoors.com.

Scheide, the Russellville, Ark. native, was the winner of the 2004 FLW Tour event held on Lake Okeechobee. In his first season on the FLW Tour, Scheide dominated the competition on Okeechobee, bringing in a five-bass limit each day. On the final day, he registered a staggering limit that weighed 21 pounds, 9 ounces. Scheide joins Lebowitz to discuss his past performance on Okeechobee, his entire 2004 season and to share his excitement about getting back in the boat.

Pearson, an Oak Hill, Va., native and FLW Outdoors tournament competitor since 1998, will participate on the FLW Tour as a Hawaiian Punch team angler. Pearson is also an accomplished entrepreneur who owns and operates three of his own businesses. Listen as Lebowitz speaks with Pearson about being one of the few African-Americans on the FLW Tour and about his life outside of fishing.

Blaukat is a mainstay on the FLW Tour having qualified for the FLW Tour Championship in each of the past three seasons. The Fujifilm team angler has fished in 56 FLW Outdoors events since 1997 placing in the top 10 eight times. Listen as the Lamar, Mo., native talks about the upcoming season and expresses his excitement over FLW Outdoors’ new television deal with Fox Sports Net.

“FLW Radio” is presented by Wal-Mart and broadcast throughout Texas and parts of Oklahoma every Sunday from 10-11 a.m. Central time.
