FLW Radio

DALLAS – On “FLW Radio” this week, tournament fishing is the topic of interest as host Keith Lebowitz talks with legendary Wal-Mart FLW Tour pro Dion Hibdon, who is currently fishing the EverStart Series Championship, FLW Tour pro Chad Grigsby and frequent visitor David Vance. “FLW Radio” is broadcast live from Dallas on Sunday and made available Wednesday on FLWOutdoors.com.

Hibdon, a celebrated angling icon, has fished in 76 FLW Outdoors events since 1996, earning more than $580,000 along the way. On Sept. 16, 2000, the Stover, Mo., native claimed first place at the FLW Tour Championship on the Red River in Shreveport, La. Listen as Lebowitz speaks with Hibdon about the daunting task of fishing Kentucky’s Lake Cumberland during the fall transition.

Grigsby, a Colon, Mich., native, has finished in the top 10 twice in his young career. Last season, Grigsby narrowly qualified for the FLW Tour Championship as the 48th-seeded angler in a 48-pro format. An FLW Tour, EverStart Series and BFL pro, Grigsby speaks with Lebowitz about the 2005 FLW Tour season as well as angler reaction to FLW Outdoors’ new TV agreement with Fox Sports Net.

A regular guest on “FLW Radio,” Vance offers his angling expertise as a Lake Fork guide. Vance is generally regarded as one of the top bass-fishing guides in the state of Texas. He specializes in the technical aspects of angling such as depth and presentation. As a Ranger boat driver, Vance also passes along some boating tips.

“FLW Radio” is presented by Wal-Mart and broadcast throughout Texas and parts of Oklahoma every Sunday from 10-11 a.m. Central time. It is rebroadcast at midnight until 1 a.m. Monday on 105.3 FM in Dallas. For those outside the Texas and Oklahoma markets who do not have KLLI 105.3 FM available to them, shows are made available on demand at FLWOutdoors.com each Wednesday after the weekend broadcast.

Each week Lebowitz assembles an exciting group of distinguished guests – from entertainers to sports-industry figures – to discuss a variety of sports- and outdoor-related issues. “FLW Radio” brings listeners inside information on what’s new in the world of sports as well as what these celebrities do for fun when they’re off the stage or field and in the outdoors.
