DALLAS – On “FLW Radio” this week, veteran Wal-Mart FLW Tour and Team Kellogg’s angler Clark Wendlandt joins host Keith Lebowitz and frequent visitor David Vance to talk tournament fishing.
Wendlandt is one of the most accomplished anglers on the FLW Tour, having won three tournaments and finished in the top 10 an amazing 20 times. The Cedar Park native discusses how he manages to consistently place high among the leaders in the FLW Tour’s overall points standings. Wendlandt has twice won the prestigious FLW Angler of the Year award and has earned $916,520 fishing in 65 FLW Outdoors events since 1997. Lebowitz and Wendlandt also discuss the recent influx of hurricane activity and the potential long-term effects on fisheries.
A regular guest on “FLW Radio,” Vance offers his angling expertise as a Lake Fork guide. Vance is generally regarded as one of the top bass-fishing guides in the state of Texas. He specializes in the technical aspects of angling such as depth and presentation. As a Ranger Boat driver, Vance also passes along some boating tips.
“FLW Radio” is presented by Wal-Mart and broadcast throughout Texas and parts of Oklahoma every Sunday from 10-11 a.m. Central time. It is rebroadcast every Monday from midnight-1 a.m. on 105.3 FM in Dallas.
