MINNEAPOLIS – Watch the Outdoor Life Network Aug. 29 as veteran angling pro Larry Nixon reviews the $1.5 million Wal-Mart FLW Tour Championship on “FLW Outdoors” television. The four-day event, which took place Aug. 11-15 on Logan Martin Lake near Birmingham, Ala., featured a bracket-style format involving the top 48 pros on the 2004 FLW Tour.

This episode of “FLW Outdoors” picks up just moments after 26-year-old rookie pro Luke Clausen of Spokane, Wash., is awarded the $500,000 grand prize. Nixon interviews Clausen minutes after the championship weigh-in takes place in front of an audience of thousands at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex. The show also features interviews with other top championship contenders, including runner-up Scott Martin of Clewiston, Fla., and third-place finisher Anthony Gagliardi of Prosperity, S.C. “FLW Outdoors” co-hosts Carlton Wing and Taylor Carr show how the top pros caught their fish, as TV cameras follow the 12 finalists throughout their final day on the water.

This week’s edition of “FLW Outdoors” also features a segment with Forrest L. Wood, founder of Ranger Boats, and the unveiling of the all-new Ranger Z-Series Comanche.

OLN broadcasts “FLW Outdoors” Sundays from 1-2 p.m. EDT and again Thursdays from 5-6 p.m. Check local listings for show times and channels in your area. An “FLW Outdoors” TV schedule is available online at FLWOutdoors.com.

During each tournament show, “FLW Outdoors” hosts Wing and Carr go on location to provide on-the-water coverage. While tournament weigh-ins are broadcast live at Wal-Mart stores throughout the country, “FLW Outdoors” will be tape-delayed by three weeks to bring audiences nationwide the best tournament footage possible throughout the season.
