MINNEAPOLIS – Coming June 13 on “FLW Outdoors,” veteran pro angler and show host Larry Nixon will take a look back at the fifth stop on the Wal-Mart FLW Tour – a tournament on Kentucky Lake presented by Pedigree that concluded May 15 with pro Anthony Gagliardi of Prosperity, S.C., claiming his first victory in his sixth year on the FLW Tour. He edged out veteran Greg Hackney of Gonzales, La. Both pros will be on the show along with fourth-place finisher David Fritts of Lexington, N.C.

Gagliardi will talk about how he used a crankbait to bag $100,000 worth of bass, and he will also talk about the excitement of winning for the first time on the FLW Tour. Fritts, who led the pack the first three days of the tournament, will talk about how he enjoyed an outstanding crankbait bite and will share with Nixon some of the finer points of crankbait fishing. Hackney’s second-place finish at Kentucky Lake also put him in second place in the race for the Land O’Lakes Angler of the Year title. He will discuss his consistent fishing this season and what it’s like to be one of the hottest anglers in the world.

Nixon will also interview first-time finalist Brennan Bosley of Benton, Ark., and take an in-depth look at the day-four performance of Yamaha pro Alton Jones of Waco, Texas. Also on the show will be Yamaha pro Terry Bolton of Paducah, Ky., to give advice about fishing a jigging spoon.
