Wal-Mart Supercenter to host fishing seminar prior to EverStart Series event
RED WING, Minn. – Some of FLW Outdoors’ most successful professional anglers will offer tournament-winning tips and techniques Sunday, June 6, when they host the Wal-Mart FLW Outdoors Fishing and Automotive Clinic prior to the EverStart Series Northern Division tournament in Red Wing. The clinic is presented by BFGoodrich Tires and Castrol.
Sunday’s clinic will be held from 4-6 p.m. at the Wal-Mart Supercenter located at 295 Tyler Road S. in Red Wing. The free clinic is designed for people of all ages and skill levels, and participants are invited to ask the pros questions about fishing and automotive topics. The event precedes the EverStart Series tournament that is scheduled to take place June 9-12 on the Mississippi River.
The clinic is held in the Wal-Mart Tire and Lube Express Department. The first hour focuses on specific techniques the anglers use, including tips on tying knots, casting and selecting tackle. During the second hour, anglers answer questions, pose for photos and sign autographs.
Presenting anglers will include Team Castrol members Bobby Curtis of Siloam Springs, Ark., Laura Aldridge of Berkley, Mich., Darrell Stevens of Roseland, Va., and Darrel Robertson of Jay, Okla.
