‘FLW Outdoors’ TV to preview Kentucky Lake event
Tune in May 30 to 'FLW Outdoors'
MINNEAPOLIS – Tune in May 30 to the “FLW Outdoors” television show on the Outdoor Life Network for a preview of the Wal-Mart FLW Tour’s fifth regular-season stop, which is presented by Pedigree. Veteran outdoor programming host Hank Parker will preview the tournament that takes place May 12-15 on Kentucky Lake in Benton, Ky. Parker will talk with FLW Tour pros George Cochran, Terry Bolton and Kelly Jordon as well as last year’s winner on Kentucky Lake, Team Pedigree pro Steve Kennedy.
The pros will talk about the lake itself and why Kentucky and Barkley lakes are listed among the best fisheries in the United States. Joining Kennedy in the winner’s circle at Kentucky Lake are Cochran and Bolton. Cochran won the FLW Tour event on Kentucky Lake in 1996, and Bolton received the honor in a 2000 Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League event there. Jordon will show Parker some sight-fishing techniques, and all the pros will show Parker how they prepare to win the event’s $100,000 top prize.
The show will also profile Team Ozark Trail pro Andy Morgan of Dayton, Tenn. Morgan has 25 top-10 finishes in FLW Outdoors events and has won more than $230,000 along the way.
The Outdoor Life Network broadcasts “FLW Outdoors” Sundays from 1-2 p.m. EST and again Thursdays from 5-6 p.m. EST. Check local listings for show times and channels in your area. An online TV schedule is also available for “FLW Outdoors.”
During each tournament show, FLW Outdoors television hosts Carlton Wing and Taylor Carr will go on location to provide on-the-water coverage. While tournament weigh-ins will broadcast live at Wal-Mart stores throughout the country, “FLW Outdoors” will be tape-delayed by three weeks to bring audiences nationwide the best tournament footage possible throughout the season.
