MINNEAPOLIS – Coming March 28 on “FLW Outdoors,” fishing Hall of Famer Hank Parker will preview the Wal-Mart FLW Tour’s third stop of the season on Old Hickory Lake in Tennessee. The four-day event, presented by Snickers, began March 10 with the final weigh-in March 13. The “FLW Outdoors” team previews all Wal-Mart FLW Tour events leading up to and including the final stop in Birmingham, Ala., at the $1.5 million FLW Tour Championship slated for Aug. 11-14.

During the program, Parker will be on the water with top tournament anglers as they prepare to compete for the $100,000 first-place check. The FLW Tour last visited Old Hickory Lake in May 2002 when the water temperatures were a bit warmer; this year, two months earlier than last time, anglers are facing cooler water temperatures and a 14-inch minimum size limit, making for fierce competition. Also on the show will be Team Fujifilm pro Wesley Strader of Spring City, Tenn. The Tennessee native has won more than $370,000 in FLW Outdoors events, netting $110,000 in an FLW Tour win in 2002.

The Outdoor Life Network broadcasts “FLW Outdoors” every Sunday from 1-2 p.m. Eastern time and again on Thursdays from 5-6 p.m. Check local listings for show times and channels in your area. An online show guide is also available from FLWOutdoors.com.
