MINNEAPOLIS – The exciting conclusion of stop No. 2 on the 2004 Wal-Mart FLW Tour will be the focus of the March 7 edition of “FLW Outdoors” on the Outdoor Life Network. The vast tidal water of the Atchafalaya Basin near Morgan City, La., will be the setting as Louisiana native and Fujifilm pro Sam Swett of Covington, La., earns his first FLW Tour victory and takes the $100,000 top prize.

The program will feature Swett, the hometown favorite, and eventual second-place finisher Tom Monsoor of La Crosse, Wis., battling it out for the top prize. The shoot-out-style weigh-in further enhanced the drama, as it came down to the last bass between Swett and Monsoor, neither of whom had an FLW Tour win to his credit. Watch as the 10 final-round anglers net more than 55 pounds of bass during the finals.

Team Land O’Lakes co-angler Judy Israel made history on the Atchafalaya Basin by becoming the first woman ever to win on the FLW Tour. She took home a $20,000 check for the win. Granbury, Texas, pro Cody Bird went into the final day in eighth place and gave it his all. The effort paid off, as he came from behind to take home the third-place check for $25,000. Tune in to find out how he earned the best finish of his FLW Tour career.

The Outdoor Life Network broadcasts “FLW Outdoors” every Sunday from 1-2 p.m. EST and again on Thursdays from 5-6 p.m. EST. Check local listings for show times and channels in your area. FLWOutdoors.com provides an online TV schedule for the program.
