FLIPPIN, Ark. – Ranger® Boats has announced it will host the first-ever Ranger Boats Rally Week April 23-24 on the grounds of its manufacturing plant located in Flippin, Ark. The celebration includes an abundance of activities designed to share the unique quality, legacy and personal atmosphere of the company.

“We’re extremely excited to host this special reunion that will bring together so many Ranger friends and owners as well as newcomers who have been anxious to find out what being a member of the Ranger Boats family is all about,” Ranger Boats President Randy Hopper said.

According to Keith Daffron of Ranger, “Each day of the gathering is packed with special events. Regularly scheduled seminars will offer rare opportunities to share fish stories with some of the biggest names in professional fishing. Hourly guided tours of the factory will offer firsthand insights into Ranger’s exclusive production processes. Plus, the FLW Fun Zone will be on hand with plenty of food, fun, music and entertainment.”

Visitors will also have an opportunity to take a trip down fishing’s memory lane by dropping in on Forrest and Nina Wood’s Outdoor Sports Gallery. This two-story facility is located adjacent to Ranger and is home to more than a half-century of local, regional and national fishing history. Other featured activities include on-water demonstrations of the newest Ranger boat models and industry product displays showcasing the latest fishing gear.

Legendary Founder of Ranger Boats Forrest L. Wood will be on hand to sign autographs and reminisce about the storied history of the company. Among the professional anglers already scheduled to participate in the rally week are Denny Brauer, Hank Parker, Jimmy Houston, Dion and Guido Hibdon, Rob Kilby, David Fritts, George Cochran and more.

“This is going to be an area-wide celebration. Numerous businesses plan to participate with a wide variety of events and functions,” Hopper said. “In addition to the full schedule of activities we have planned here at Ranger, there will be antique and craft exhibits in downtown Flippin as well as opportunities to fish the legendary White River or Bull Shoals Lake. Combined with a host of prominent tourist attractions in close proximity, this promises to be a memorable time for the entire family.”
