FLW Outdoors radio talks baseball, fishing, football

DALLAS – On this Sunday’s edition of “FLW Outdoors Presented by Wal-Mart,” hosts Keith Lebowitz and Tony Casillas will talk with Texas Rangers’ shortstop Alex Rodriguez and rookie third baseman Mark Teixeira. The crew will also catch up with Rob Kilby of Hot Springs, Ark., who is entering the FLW Tour Championship seeded 44th, and Stanley pro Scott Martin of Clewiston, Fla., who is entering the championship seeded 24th. Wrapping up the show will be regular guest Nick Eatman, a DallasCowboys.com writer.

Rodriguez – who, in 2002, became the first player since 1984 to lead the Major League in homeruns, RBIs and total bases, all at the same time – will talk about life as one of baseball’s major stars and his love of the outdoors. Teixeira, who was named 2002 Rangers Minor League Player of the Year, will talk about his first season playing in the majors. Kilby will discuss his preparations for the most lucrative championship in the history of bass fishing, the Sept. 10-13 FLW Tour season finale in Richmond, Va., from which the winner will take home a $500,000 check. Martin will talk about gearing up for the championship. Eatman will give a Dallas Cowboys update.
