FLW Outdoors Radio to talk with pro anglers, former Dallas Cowboy
DALLAS – On this Sunday’s edition of “FLW Outdoors Presented by Wal-Mart,” hosts Keith Lebowitz and Tony Casillas will talk with Kellogg’s pro Alvin Shaw of State Road, N.C., who finished the Wal-Mart FLW Tour regular season in 48th place to qualify for the FLW Tour Championship after a 16th-place finish at the final regular-season event on Alabama’s Wheeler Lake. Also joining the show to talk about the upcoming championship – scheduled for Sept. 10-13 on the James River in Richmond, Va. – will be pro Tim Carroll of Owasso, Okla., who finished the regular season in fifth place after a 38th-place finish on Wheeler Lake. Jim Jeffcoat, a former Dallas Cowboys defenseman, will join the crew as well to talk about fishing.
Shaw – whose 48th rank pits him against the No. 1 ranked Dan Morehead of Paducah, Ky., in the first round of the bracket-style championship – will talk about facing the recently named Angler of the Year on the James River. Carroll – who will be up against 44th-placed Rob Kilby of Hot Springs, Ark. – will talk about his first appearance in the championship and competing for the $500,000 first-place cash prize. Jeffcoat, who holds a Cowboys record for most sacks in a single game, currently serves as coach of the Cowboys’ defensive ends. When he’s not busy on the sidelines, Jeffcoat loves to fish.
“FLW Outdoors Presented by Wal-Mart” is broadcast throughout Texas and parts of Oklahoma every Sunday from 10 a.m. until noon Central time on Fox Sports 1190 AM KFXR in Dallas.
