MINNEAPOLIS – This week on “FLW Outdoors” television, co-host and angling veteran Hank Parker is in Alabama for the $1 million Forrest Wood Open taking place on Wheeler Lake. Parker gets in the boat with Castrol pro David Dudley, Kellogg’s pro Clark Wendlandt and FLW Tour rookie Chris Elliot as they prepare for the Wal-Mart FLW Tour’s final regular-season event. Rounding out Parker’s guest list is co-angler Karen Savik of St. Louis Park, Minn.

Parker fishes with Land O’Lakes Angler of the Year contenders Dudley of Manteo, N.C., who is currently ranked second in the overall FLW Tour points standings, and Wendlandt of Cedar Park, Texas, who is holding the third-place position going into the tournament that will decide the title winner.

Parker also joins Elliott of Gloucester, N.C., out on the water. Elliott, who is currently ranked 51, was the champion of this season’s third stop on the FLW Tour, Lake Murray. He needs a good performance at Wheeler Lake to break into the top-48 standings and qualify for the $1.5 million FLW Tour Championship in Richmond, Va., Sept. 10-13.

Savik, a member of Team Land O’Lakes, will talk about how she gears up for tournaments as a co-angler.

This week’s show also features co-hosts Carton Wing and Taylor Carr with Evinrude pro and Angler of the Year points leader Dan Morehead of Paducah, Ky., and Yamaha pro Terry Bolton of Paducah while they fish a night tournament on Kentucky Lake.
