MINNEAPOLIS – This week “FLW Outdoors” television takes a look back at the Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League All-American and the hot streak of champion Tony Christian of Hull, Ga. Co-hosts Carlton Wing and Taylor Carr will also give an update on the Land O’Lakes Angler of the Year race, which will be determined June 18-21 at the Wal-Mart FLW Tour’s final regular-season event on Alabama’s Wheeler Lake.

Christian continued his seemingly unstoppable winning streak on Alabama’s Mobile-Tensaw Delta two weeks ago with his eighth win in the past 15 months. Christian, who is currently ranked No. 1 in the EverStart Series Eastern Division, will talk about his $100,000 All-American win and his dominant presence on the tournament trail.

Dan Morehead of Paducah, Ky., currently leads the Angler of the Year points race with David Dudley of Manteo, N.C., trailing by 26 points. Two-time Angler of the Year winner Clark Wendlandt of Cedar Park, Texas, tails Morehead by 55 points and rounds out the top three in the standings.

Other items featured this week include a river fishing trip with Ranger pro Rob Kilby of Hot Springs, Ark, a look at the extensive preparation FLW Tour pros go through for an event and the role superstition plays in the highly competitive world of pro fishing.
