DALLAS – Sunday on “FLW Outdoors Presented by Wal-Mart,” Fox Sports Radio hosts Keith Lebowitz and Travis Smith will cover a variety of sports from fishing to football. The crew will talk with a fishing-show host, Dallas Cowboys running back, an NBA commentator and a PGA professional.
Guest Hank Parker will join the crew to talk about the new “FLW Outdoors” television show on the Outdoor Life Network that he will host in 2003 alongside Charlie Evans, Carlton Wing, Taylor Carr and another legendary angler, Larry Nixon. Michael Wiley, an Ohio State graduate and Dallas Cowboys running back, will recap the Cowboys’ Saturday night game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Wiley will also talk about his alma mater’s upcoming Fiesta Bowl game against the Miami Hurricanes. Dallas Mavericks alumnus and current play-by-play commentator Brad Davis will preview the Mavericks’ Monday night game against Michael Jordan’s Washington Wizards. Brandt Jobe, who landed in the top 65 on this year’s PGA money list with career-high earnings just shy of $1 million for 2002, will talk about The Masters’ official golf course, Augusta National, which has a controversial no-female-members rule.
“FLW Outdoors Presented by Wal-Mart” is broadcast throughout Texas and parts of Oklahoma every Sunday from 10 a.m. until noon CST on Fox Sports 1190 AM KFXR in Dallas. Those outside the broadcast area can listen via an Internet link provided by FLW Outdoors on its Web site in the right-hand navigation bar.
