FLW radio rustles up rookie pro angler, Dallas Cowboys linchpins, hoops legend for Sunday show
FLW angler Chad Grigsby to share air time with other sports greats
DALLAS – “FLW Outdoors Presented by Wal-Mart” on Fox Sports Radio 1190 AM is set for one of its most exciting programs to date this Sunday. A rising star on the Wal-Mart FLW Tour, who offered fishing tips on last week’s program, will return with highlights from a recent professional tournament. The driving forces behind the Dallas Cowboys will also be featured as well as a former Dallas Mavericks legend.
Guests for this week’s show include Cowboys running back Emmitt Smith, quarterback Quincy Carter, head coach Dave Campo and owner Jerry Jones along with Cowboys.com writer Nick Eatman. Mavericks alumnus and current play-by-play commentator Brad Davis is also scheduled to appear. Calling in from the final tournament of the EverStart Series Northern Division season will be FLW Tour pro angler Chad Grigsby of Colon, Mich.
Beginning Sunday at 10 a.m. CST, hosts Keith Lebowitz and Travis Smith will discuss the 2002 NFC East season as well as a variety of sports- and outdoor-related issues with their noted guests.
The Cowboys crew will talk about Sunday’s game against the St. Louis Rams and their plan to maintain the Rams’ winless status in 2002. Eatman will provide commentary about Sunday’s matchup, which is scheduled for noon at St. Louis’ Edward Jones Dome. Davis, who is one of only two players to have his Mavericks jersey retired, will talk about the upcoming basketball season. Grigsby, who is presently fishing an EverStart tournament on the Detroit River, will call in with the results.
“FLW Outdoors Presented by Wal-Mart” is broadcast on Fox Sports 1190 AM throughout Texas and parts of Oklahoma from KTRA in Dallas.
