FLIPPIN, Ark. – After a five-month delay due to the cancellation of the final EverStart Central Division tournament of 2001, Ranger Boats is proud to announce the 2001 EverStart Series Ranger Cup top 10 points finishers. FLW Outdoors cancelled the Sept. 19-22 EverStart Central Division event on Fort Gibson Lake, Okla., because of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. The EverStart Ranger Cup winners received a total payout of more than $62,000 in cash and prizes.

In its first full year the Ranger Cup has awarded more than $400,000 in cash and prizes to qualified Ranger Boat owners fishing the pro divisions of leading tournament circuits nationwide. Anyone owning a Ranger boat and meeting clothing and decal requirements is eligible to compete in the cash contingency program.
In announcing the winners, Ranger President Randy Hopper said, “Our contingency reward program has grown significantly in 2002. We’re pleased that it has become an important part of so many tournament circuits and that it gives us an opportunity to recognize the skill of many dedicated Ranger anglers nationwide.”
